- Is This the Right Gasket? - Check the date stamp located on the bottom of your canner; it will be displayed in a fraction format indicating Month and Year. This gasket is compatible with Mirro and Mirro Matic Canners manufactured prior to January 1983. It is not suitable for Mirro canners or cookers if the model number starts with 92***.
